I never thought about acupuncture whenever I had something going on. Also my friends don’t. Whenever they tell me about their issues, I always tell them the same: TRY ACUPUNCTURE. So I was wondering WHAT keeps people away from this medical option acupuncture? This is what I think are the most common misconceptions:
- I don’t like needles!
- I don’t like needles too, but the needles I use are nothing like the needles you are used to. They are extremely thin. And these needles make you really relaxed.
I don’t believe in it!
You don’t have to believe in it, just try it! Research has shown acupuncture’s effectiveness in treating sports injuries, pain management, insomnia, anxiety, depression, migraines, arthritis and infertility. I’m happy to send anybody interested some articles or links. I really hope that acupuncture in the future will not be seen as something ‘alternative’ but as a real medical option.
Ok, it’s not for free, but see it as an investment in a better health. It’s a noninvasive, all natural medical alternative with no side effects. I make a treatment plan based on each patient’s pattern of symptoms, and every time the treatment is adjusted to the symptoms.
I don’t think acupuncture is a cure of everything, but I do strongly believe it can help in so many unbelievable ways! Don’t let an excuse get in the way of reaching your best state of being.
